Fearless

I'm reading a book by Angela Donadio called "Fearless." She tells the stories of six ordinary women in the Bible who dared to do extraordinary things and and changed the course of history. The following are a few excerpts I have to share because it's timely.

Fear is tricky. Not only can fear cause us to delay, it can urge us to act impulsively and overstep our boundaries. We under-think and over-act. We minimize our contribution and become blindsided by comparison. So, don't spend one more second worrying about what someone else is doing. You're not them. What makes us strong is not what we do, but whether we do what God has uniquely called us to do. Be willing to play a small part for the greater good. We don't know the story God is writing, which is why we have to let Him hold the pen. When you least expect it, God will breathe on that ordinary moment and leave you astounded. My granddaughter loves to feed the birds at the beach. She looks forward to this every time she and her mother visit the beach. Not only does she love finding fiddler crabs in the evening, she loves feeding the birds. And she is not at all worried about the birds nipping her finger ... she if fearless. She just loves being at the beach. She loves when the birds begin flying towards her for that small piece of bread she's holding. And they know when she holds up her hand, she's got something for them. It's just a small piece of bread, but to the birds, it's a meal. When I look at this picture, what I see is not just birds flying around with a small child looking up at them, but I see God breathing on an ordinary moment, using my precious Elli and turning that moment into an extraordinary act of kindness leaving me astounded. You never know at what moment God will breathe extraordinary into your life.

Lord, I pray a hedge of protection over all who read these prayers Lord. I come against fear, anxiety and sickness. I pray Lord for peace, good health and that You strengthen them in body and mind Lord. I pray for guidance and wisdom and that You hold them up with your righteous right Hand. I pray Lord they seek You first in all things and that you bless them abundantly and give them all they need in every situation. I thank you in advance Lord that you have already answered their prayers and made provisions in their lives. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Protection

Provision
