Faith, family and love ...
Hi Friends! Welcome ... I am so glad you stopped by. My heart for you is that you leave encouraged, inspired, and with a feeling of being known, valued and loved.

A little bit about me ... I am married to Paul. I first "saw" him in 9th grade. And for the next four years I watched him, but did not talk to him. I was quite shy. He was a popular guy so I had to be content to love him from afar for 4 years. He was invited to my 16th "surprise" birthday party, but did not show. When I found out, I was crushed. After we graduated, I got a job at an attorney's office, got married and had four amazing children. Paul went to college, got married and had four amazing children. It's amazing how some things in life come full circle. In 2012 we were both single and became friends. The friendship grew into love, I forgave him for ignoring me in high school and we got married. Ours is a love story for sure. Paul and I are beyond blessed with a large, loud blended family. Together we have 9 children, 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and 2 dachshunds! Life is busy, full and exciting.

You may wonder how did I end up writing a book. I started journaling over 20 years ago and from that journaling came my first book in 2021, "Broken Road of Blessings: Turning Dead Ends to Destinations," a 31-day devotional. I talk about my struggles in marriage, health, parenting and relationships and how God was so present, even when I could not feel Him. I speak firsthand how God led me back to a path of freedom and destiny after years of feeling hopelessness, depression, and loneliness. I wrote the book praying the words encourage and empower you with the hope to go forward, persevering when you do not feel you can take another step. I know God has a perfect plan for your life and He will not leave you to walk it alone.

My passion is my family and making as many memories with them as I can. I want to leave a legacy, an imprint on their hearts. I love digging into the Word to see where God leads me. Whether it's listening to praise and worship or inhaling in the beauty of a sunrise or sunset, I marvel at the power of our Almighty God. I just love to worship! There are no boundaries to where we can meet with our Heavenly Father! You are loved and you are chosen. Ephesians 1:4
